Every Memorial Day weekend in Silver City, the Mimbres Region Arts Council presents one of the premiere free blues festivals in the Southwest. Running from Friday through Sunday afternoon, the Blues Festival features both the brightest rising stars of the blues and classic respected blues performers.

Presented in Silver City’s Gough Park (pronounced “Goff”), this is great experience for lovers of the blues in a beautiful open air setting.

The Silver City Blues Festival is an open air event, which also features food vendors and artists from around the region displaying and selling unique items. The festival is family friendly, with two free days of excellent blues performances in Gough Park. Local businesses, galleries, and restaurants in Silver City have extended hours that weekend, and a special Art Walk is planned for Sunday morning.
